As for the storage of matresses, they must be wrapped in polythene to prevent moisture penetration. Furthermore, it is undesirable to put on them any subjects, because the internal structure that supports the body during sleep, will be damaged. Only in the case of latex matresses, their volume in storage can be reduced, packaged them in a special vacuum bags.
